Note from Pauline Durban, Founder and President of Covered Perfectly - I'm loving the way Lorraine styled the Cold Shoulder. She looks amazing and you can too. Check out what she has to say.
Over to Lorraine...
I'm a little behind in the cold shoulder trend, and not quite sure why! I live in Florida, so in summer I live in tank tops. Now that I own the Dana cold shoulder top by Covered Perfectly, I can see I was missing out on this style. It´s perfect for Florida fall, and a must-pack if you are headed somewhere warm for a winter break.
I absolutely love the soft fabric: MicroModal®, made of European beechwood.
It's a natural breathable fabric perfect for either warmer weather or women who, like me, are going through menopause.
Although, on looking again at how I styled it, I think this particular top is for any woman. I´m 54 and I never try to “dress my age,” whatever that means. I dress for comfort and style.
I paired the Dana cold shoulder top with distressed jeans and black high heels. For more comfort, I´ve also worn it with black wedges, flats or flip-flops. It looks just as good with all of those.
I´m small, so the smallest size is slightly roomy, but it doesn´t look baggy. This means that cinching it in with a sash gives it an entirely different look. I could also use a wide belt, but I thought the sash was more fun.
I love accessories: scarves and jewelry. Just by switching out the necklace I´m wearing, the top looks different. I chose a colorful mosaic long necklace for a pop of color.
I encourage you to check out Covered Perfectly´s website. What I most love about the brand is that it is the brainchild of an over-40 woman wanting to cater to other over-40 women. You will find many other colors and styles. I trust you will find one for YOU!
