Now for the last leg of my trip. I’m fortunate to have a BFF, Maria, who lives in Mijas Costa, Spain. It’s a beautiful place and if you are ever looking for a vacation, she has three rentals. You will find them at http://www.justmijas.com/
I stayed at her villa, an amazing place that you will see in the pictures below.
It was the first actual vacation I have had in a very long time. It was only three days but it was amazing.
You will see that I did a lot of eating…
This is the back of Maria’s villa, as you can see it’s gorgeous. The gardens are beautiful and this is definitely a party house, of which she has plenty. I’m going back in 2019 for her 60th.
First stop was lunch and a walk to the beach. Even though I live in Southern CA, I don't get to the beach much so this was a treat.
This top is named after my sister, Wendy. It's very slimming, who doesn't need that.
You will see Maria on the website, modeling it.
I loved this beautiful arch so I needed to include it. Here I’m wearing the Peek-a-Boo top. I definitely rediscovered how flattering A-line tops are. I need to cover my tummy and this style definitely did just that.
I think you can see a theme here. This was lunch on the beach with a few cocktails. It was great spending so much time with Maria. We have been friends for a very long time and we always pick up where we left off. We all need a few friends like that.
We had a delicious dinner on the beach. We ordered a bunch of seafood and shared it. I’m wearing the V-neck asymmetrical top in this picture. Another very flattering, slimming top.
It stays light until about 10pm in Europe so you get to enjoy the sighs.
Then their was the amazing steak dinner at a restaurant way, way up in the mountains. It was so high that Vic drove the 4x4. It was a terrifying drive with small windy roads with no guard rails.
I’m wearing the fun and flirty Fit and Flare.
For the final lunch before leaving that night back to the UK, was at an upscale boutique hotel, yes, of course it was on the beach. I had spare ribs. Note to self, stick to ribs in the US, we know how to cook them better. Of course the ambiance was incredible as was the view.
I had to pose at the stylish entrance. It is certainly a beautiful hotel and very popular with people from all all over the world.
For my trip back I wore the leopard Chiffon top over the golden tan Simple Comfort. I always wear either the chiffon top as a vest or I cover the Simple Comfort with a Cascading Vest. Because I like my tummy to be covered.
You will notice that I wore Covered Perfectly tops all the time, which I also do when I'm home. MicroModal is breathable so works well in the heat. I wear them in California where the weather to hits over 100 degrees.
The other great thing about the tops is that they travel well. If ever there is a stubborn crease, I get rid of it with a hairdryer.
So there you have it. If you missed the previous posts here are the links.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I appreciate each and everyone of you for supporting my concept of fashion for women over 50 and way beyond!
