Covered Perfectly Review - By Adrienne, The Rich Life on a Budget
Note from Pauline Durban, Founder of Covered Perfectly. I sent Adrienne , from The Rich Life a Simple Comfort to try last year. She has since purchased more tops, which is great compliment. I'm sure you will agree that she looks amazing. Be sure to check out her blog for great styling ideas.
Covered Perfectly Review
You know that piece of clothing in your closet that you catch yourself reaching for almost every day? And when you realize it’s in the wash and you’ll have to find something else to wear, you kick yourself for not doing your laundry the day before? That’s how I feel about my Covered Perfectly Simple Comfort top.
Since I received one last month from Founder and President, Pauline Durban, I have worn it at least twice a week, if not more.
Pauline created Covered Perfectlyin 2012 when she became frustrated with tops that had sleeves and bodies too short to cover her arms and torso. Instead of making do with the available choices on the market, she took action and now she has her own her own line of tops with flattering ¾ length sleeves, longer than average torsos and a super soft, high-quality MicroModal® fabric.
Being both tall and long-waisted, I have experienced these same issues. I often have to search out “tall” sizes to get the torso length I want which in turn frequently results in overly long sleeve length.
My Simple Comforttop is long enough in the torso to tuck in to a skirt or pair of slacks without having to worry about it riding up and coming un-tucked. I can also wear it un-tucked with a lower or mid-rise pant and not fret about unintentionally showing off my midriff.
I wore my Covered Perfectly Simple Comfort top with an animal print skirt (thrift store find), tall Franco Sarto boots (very old), leather moto jacket from Italy, and a Banana Republic satchel.
I appreciate the classic style of the Simple Comfort top. It’s surprisingly hard these days to find wardrobe basics like a scoop-neck tee and even harder to find tops with quality MicroModal fabric, which is not only incredibly soft but natural, breathable and machine washable, too. And you can’t find a better price for this type of fabric. Simple Comfort tops are only $39.95! And they’re made in the USA.
I wear a Medium in Covered Perfectly, which is my usual size in tops. Pauline recently introduced Plus Sizes in many of her styles.
See her website for more details.
Pauline is offering The Rich Life readers a 20% discount (up to 2 items) on her already competitively priced collection! Just enter the code TRL20.
I’m planning on using my code to get a Violet and a Cobalt in the Simple Comfort top. I also love the patterned Simple Comfort tops, especially the Houndstooth print.
