A Business Look - by Susan, from Fifty, not Frumpy

Note from Pauline Durban, founder of Covered Perfectly. This is part 2 from Susan on how to style a basic top a number of ways. She really does get the most out of her tops and she shows you how.

If you missed part one, the link is at the bottom of this post.

Over to Susan....

Today, I am showing the same Covered Perfectly Micro-modal knit top from Monday’s post. Comfortable but professional looks are easy to create with classic basics. By adding a scarf with bold colors including the same red, I softened the effect of the black jacket and pulled the look together.

The fifty-one-inch square silk scarf is folded in a triangle and then rolled from the long side again and again until it is a small band with just a bit of the triangle remaining. I placed it around my neck and folded it over once to form a soft V.

My prescription eyeglass frames are by Life is Good. I chose the size and square shape to complement my roundish facial features. That stack of papers in the box behind me on the floor is the first step of doing my taxes. Wish me luck!

The Covered Perfectly Micro-modal knit top is an excellent first layer. These tops come in several colors and with other necklines.

When you buy two, the third top is free. The style I am wearing is here.

In my next post, I will show you a date night look starting with the same red top.
